Pastor Jason Brenenstuhl was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. He was saved at the age of 5 in family devotions while he and his family were attending Cleveland Baptist Church under Dr. Roy Thompson. He surrendered his life for missions at the age of 17 and God led him to Fairhaven Baptist College where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Missions and is currently working on his Masters Degree. He met his wife, Heather, (daughter of Larry Ingalls - Baptist Couriers for Christ ministry out of Wyldewood) at college. They spent the next 10 years as missionaries in Zambia, Africa where they were able to work with three different churches as well as having a public school ministry. God led them back to the States in 2007, where he worked as Assistant Pastor/ School Principal to Dr. Rodger Bottrell in Lyons, New York. God has led Jason and his family to Wyldewood Baptist Church where he recently became the senior pastor.
Pastor Randy King was born and raised in the Oshkosh area on a dairy farm. When he was 17 years old he heard the gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time at a small Baptist church in Oshkosh called Southside Baptist Church. At the age of 18, in December of 1969, he trusted Christ and was baptized at Southside Baptist Church. Under the leadership of Pastor Howard Nelson he became the youth director in 1971 and served in that capacity until 1988. In February of 1988, Pastor Nelson officially resigned as pastor and began a ministry to the Scandinavian countries. Pastor King was chosen as the new pastor, and the church has continued to grow under his leadership. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Religious Education and he has the Master of Ministry degree from Northland Baptist Bible College in Pembine, Wisconsin. He has traveled extensively in the United States and to several foreign countries ministering the gospel. Pastor King serves on the boards of the Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools and Independent Baptist Missions for Asians. In 2013 he resigned as senior pastor and assumed the role of Missions Pastor. He now oversees each of the mission ministries of Wyldewood Baptist church, including the Omega Ministry, First Light Baptist Mission, Couriers for Christ, Bearing Precious Seed, The Master's Craftsmen, and Wings as Eagles. He and his wife Lori have 6 children and 13 grandchildren.
Assistant Pastor/ School Principal
Pastor James Souza was born and raised in Massachusettes. While studying engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusettes he visited Victory Baptist Church in his hometown of Fairhaven. After attending services for several Sundays, he went forward for salvation during an invitation. Immediately he began to grow and became involved in soulwinning and other ministries of the church. Two years later, at the age of 24, he surrendered for full time Christian service. He enrolled in the missions program at Fairhaven Baptist College in Chesterton, Indiana where he received a bachelor’s degree in 1992. It was at Fairhaven where James met his wife Amanda. They have four children, Virginia, Jacqueline, Levi and Jacob. James served as assistant pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Cranberry, Pennsylvania for 5 years before the Lord led him to Wyldewood in 2001. In addition to being principal of Wyldewood Christian School, his responsibilites at Wyldewood include overseeing the bus ministry, Sunday school department, technology department, and children’s churches.
Joshua Stertz is a product of the ministry of Wyldewood Baptist Church. His parents have been missionaries to Eastern Europe for nearly 40 years and members of Wyldewood since 1973. Joshua was saved during family devotions as a child in 1982, and surrendered to full time Christian service 11 years later. After graduating from Wyldewood Christian School, he enrolled in the Wyldewood Baptist Bible Institute. He graduated from the Institute in May of 2000 and later that year married his wife, Kelli, whom he met 2 years earlier at her church in Green Bay. Joshua started working in the Junior Church ministries at Wyldewood in 1993 and has worked in various youth ministries continuously since then. He felt led to work with the teens in 2002, was called to the youth pastorate in 2010, and ordained in the summer of 2013. God has blessed Kelli and Joshua with four children. Joshua is on the advisory boards for the Couriers for Christ and The Master’s Craftsmen ministries and regularly takes missions trips with these and other ministries of Wyldewood. He is responsible for the Wednesday Night TeenGroup program, the TeenMania youth rally, senior high Sunday School class, and other aspects of the youth ministries at Wyldewood. He is also a Sheriff’s Chaplain for Winnebago County.
